Someone obviously needs to visit Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Yes, it's Ohio, but you can't argue with a peninsula packed with the best coasters known to man, woman, or Martian. Seriously, go. The best part is that, on most coasters, all you can see as you're climbing the initial hill is Lake Erie, and it friggin' looks like you're going to plunge into the sea. Very cool.

I've heard lots of good things about Cedar Point. Ohio's a bit out of driving range, but maybe someday I'll set a plan in motion. I hear the Six Flags parks in Texas are mighty works of entertainment power as well.

Pretty much all the six flags parks have the same roller coasters. Some just get the new coaster a year before the others. Here in Chicago Six Flags Great America has the exact same rides as Great Adventure and Mid-America.

Maybe when we go to Origins, we could plan in an extra day for a detour to Cedar Point. I went there once, and the coasters were indeed outstanding.
