Poker: Variation On A Theme

Last night a game of cards was played.
fizrep,
katieledge, Astrida, and I sat down for a few rounds of cards. We played several hands of Durok, and then moved on to Texas Hold 'Em and Five Card Stud Poker.
Most of the time, poker can be done in a manner where the dealer sets the wild cards: 2's, One Eyed Jacks, Suicide Kings, etc. This posed a problem for us, as we were not using a standard deck of cards. One of the highlights of the Iraq War was the Iraqi Most Wanted Deck Of Cards, in which the faces of various Iraqi personalities, government officials, scientists, etc. were depicted in the hopes of making them easier to find. Whatever. This, however, makes for hard times when you're looking for Suicide Kings and instead are confronted with the face of Tariq Aziz.
So we set the tone for our own wild cards. If ever you play poker with the Iraqi Most Wanted card deck, we suggest the following:
"Names that do not have an 'Al-' in them wild" -
chaosvizier
"Citizens of Tikrit (having Tikriti or Al-Tikriti in their names) wild" -
fizrep
"Silhouettes wild" - Astrida
"No moustaches and no berets in picture wild" -
katieledge
"Black and white pictures wild" -
chaosvizier
"Glasses wild" -
katieledge
"Five or more words in name wild" -
fizrep
We concluded with a hand with my own special rule designed for maximum chaos:
"Moustaches wild."
Surprise! I win, five aces!
