Monday's Monstrous Movies, on a Thursday!
Oct. 30th, 2003 11:45 amWell, I'll put a movie review in here in a bit, but first I just want to say this. The classic (that means old, for some of you younguns) sci-fi/horror movie Alien is being re-released in theaters this week. Yes, the director's cut of Ridley Scott's series-inspiring film is out there, digitally remastered for our viewing pleasure. This is a good- nay, outstanding- thing. Aliens are cool. Sigourney Weaver is cool. Put the two together and, well, kick ass.
In any event, after work on Monday, I'm off to see it. Of course, I'll be in Manhattan at the time, but that happens. Anyone who has a job that could enable them to be in Manhattan for a 6:30 pm showing of Alien and wants to see the movie on the big screen (which I have never seen; I've only seen this film on video or cable), come join me!
Specific details:
The movie- Alien
The place- Loews EWalk Theater, 8th Ave and 42nd St, Manhattan, NY
The date- Monday, 3 November 2003
The time- 6:30 pm (meet up like 6:00 or so in front of theater)
Order your tickets online through www.Fandango.com; makes things easier.
And with that being said, onward to movie review time!
Kill Bill, volume 1
