The elevator smooch caught me off guard, because I didn't realize they were having a relationship. I didn't catch it at the time, in the scene where the noobs were being assigned to their ships and Uhura bitched at Spock and he said something something conflict of interest and then changed his mind for her. I'm not subtle like that. Which probably explains why I don't get to suck face in elevators all that often.
